As per FutureSource Consulting, Epson sold 35,079 units during H1 FY2016 and garnered a market share of 26.9%. Epson's market share for FY 2015 was 21.8%, thereby indicating a sharp increase in market share in H1 FY2016.

Epson's growth has been driven by robust sales in the education, business and home segments. The Indian Projector market is highly fragmented with more than 20 brands currently vying for a piece of the pie.
